What we collect
When you request a valuation we collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, your vehicle's registration and mileage, and any details you add about the car's condition.
How your data is handled
The valuation form does not store your submission on this website or in any database. Your details are sent directly to us by email so that we can prepare and give you an offer.
To confirm your vehicle we send its registration to the DVSA MOT History service. We do not send them any of your personal details.
Email delivery is handled on our behalf by Brevo (brevo.com, Sendinblue SAS), and during our current setup period by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co); the provider passes the message to us in transit. We store the email we receive in our own mailbox and delete it once the enquiry is closed.
Lawful basis
We process your details on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a valuation you have asked for.
Retention
We keep valuation enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with them, and then delete them. Where a sale completes, we keep the records we are legally required to keep as a motor trader.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
